Live Improper.

Our mission.

Improper Etiquette is a Los Angeles-based organization created in 2019 by a team of USC, UCLA, and UC Berkeley students.

Our work originated in Skid Row, one of the largest homeless populations in the world, where access to water (and other essential services) is critically inadequate.

We produce sustainable clothes and other goods inspired by LA’s coastal urban culture to fund clean water wells and water stations in the U.S., South Africa, Uganda, and Madagascar.

Our clothes are made of organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, bamboo, and hemp.

The name Improper Etiquette celebrates brazen authenticity.

Why Improper? 〰️

Ryder Mora ~ Co-Founder

“Improper is an avenue to explore what I can do to create positive change. The idea began simply, but Improper has grown and developed into so much more than I initially expected. And the exciting part is that it will continue to grow and change.”

Ryan Parks ~ Co-Founder

“Improper is an outlet to channel artistic expression into a mission of serving others. “
